This qualification is typically delivered over half a day, or as a bolt on to a full First Aid course. The intention is for learners to be able to use an AED with confidence. They will also understand the correct use, storage and maintenance. This is perfect for those who have an AED in their workplace.

  • Ofqual regulated qualification

  • Written to UK Resuscitation council protocols 

  • 3 guided learning hours (1/2 day)

  • 5 hours Total qualification time 

  • Valid for 1 year

  • Certificate included 

  • Assessed by MCQs and practical observation

This qualification has been developed to meet recognised training requirements and has been written to the UK resuscitation council protocols. The course Includes:

  • Primary survey

  • Recovery position 

  • Child/ drowning adult drowning CPR (as appropriate) 

  • Adult CPR

  • Safety considerations 

  • Safe use of the AED

  • Handing over to the emergency services
